The Dreaded Generation-The 144 Thousand

The Dreaded Generation

In Revelation chapter twelve the spiritual battle of the ages involving Satan, the great spiritual enemy of God, and God’s chosen people Israel is focused upon. At the very end of the chapter “The Dreaded Generation” who become the focus of the ongoing end of the age heavenly conflict is introduced: “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant [rest] of her seed, which keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” (Revelation 12:17)

The word “remnant” means the rest or remainder of faithful Jews. This Greek word is not the word Paul used in Romans 11:5 to indicate the remnant of Israel which God preserves, but, instead this word indicates the rest or remainder of faithful Jews who do not go into the wilderness and may be larger or smaller in number than “The woman”.  The faithful Jews who are in the land of Israel are called “The woman”. They will flee into the wilderness of Judea (Matthew 24:15-21) and be nourished and fed by God during the last half of the70th Week of Daniel (Revelation 12:6, 14).

However, these faithful Jews called “The remnant of her seed” will be scattered throughout the planet and from this group comes the generation that will be greatly dreaded by the Devil himself because the Lord will give them  increased spiritual power in abundance during the days of great tribulation and the Day of the Lord according to Revelation 12:10: “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven: Now is come salvation, and strength, and the Kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.”

At this point in time, the midpoint of the 70th Week of Daniel, these Jews called the remnant or rest of her seed are found within the Church, the Body of Jesus Christ. The 144 Thousand who are later sealed just before the Rapture and the Day of the Lord are part of this group of faithful Jews who are within the worldwide Church of Jesus Christ.

This is alluded to in Revelation 7:1-3: “And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from  the east, having the seal of the living God; and he cried with a loud  voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the  trees till we  have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.” (Revelation 7:1-3)

The coming global judgment by these four angels is withheld from the entire planet, not just the nation of Israel which indicates that the 144 Thousand are scattered throughout the planet and are not only located in Israel. There are barely 144,000 Jewish believers living in the land of Israel according to an accurate estimate/survey taken in May of 2012.

Since the twelve tribes have been scattered across the globe for over 2500 years, it is logical that the Lord will call these chosen vessels out of the Body of Christ from across the earth as is also indicated in Revelation 14:3: “And they sang as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth”.

These 144 Thousand mightily prepared young men will be greatly dreaded by the dragon and his angels because of their great spiritual prowess due to the increased access to the throne of God which will be given to all believers during that time. This increased access comes about after the Devil’s access to the throne of God is eliminated when he is cast out of heaven into the earth by Michael the Archangel and his Angels: “And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” (Revelation 12:7-9)

The Devil turns up his affliction of the saints during that time which is called “Great tribulation such as was not from beginning of the world to this time, no nor ever shall be” (Matthew 24:21). But, notice what the Lord does to counter this greatest of all tribulation of the saints which is also called the Devil’s “Great wrath” (Revelation 12:12): “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony: and they loved not their lives unto the death” (Revelation 12:10, 11)

The phrase “Now is come” indicates there will be a change in the warfare blessings listed in these verses for in that day the Lord will give His servants increased opportunity before His throne where all authority and power reside. This change created at the throne of God by Michael the Archangel’s victory is the reason these increased warfare blessings will be given for all heaven rejoices at this miraculous turn of events: “Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea, for the Devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time.” (Revelation 12:12)

Then, the Lord’s “Salvation” or deliverance, as this word emphasizes in this passage, will be as the days of old for believers, when He gave David the supernatural physical ability to win battles time and again as witnessed in the book of Psalms. In like manner, in that day, He will deliver those warriors of the Cross who serve Him during this time of maximum persecution from the great enemy of their soul when affliction, tribulation, persecution and martyrdom will be at their zenith.

However, the Devil will no longer be able to accuse them before the throne of God and the Lord will deliver and preserve His servants that they might fight and win the battle bringing forth their complete ministry as priests unto God for they get the victory by mediating on behalf of those “Souls for Jesus” whom God will call in that day! “Souls for Jesus” must be our continuing battle cry today as the Coming of the Lord draws nigh, to the Jew first and also to the Gentile!

This deliverance is only the beginning of the Lord’s increased spiritual blessings for His warriors as He will also give the “strength” of His Holy Spirit in great measure. This word “strength” is the Greek word ‘dunamis’ which is usually translated “power”. The source of all true ministry must come from the power of the Lord’s Spirit for “Without Him we can do nothing” (John 15:5). “Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit says the Lord of Hosts!”(Zechariah 4:6).

In addition there will be increased access to, and awareness of, the Kingdom of God for His eternal Kingdom is operating at the present hour but in order to be aware of His working believers must be aware of His moving in their midst. In that day the Lord will give His servants increased ability through His Holy Spirit to “see” the Kingdom of God!

The last of these spiritual blessings “The power of His Christ”  is the most necessary blessing of all for as mentioned above without the Lord Jesus Christ we can do nothing (John 15:5)! God will shed forth the power of His Anointed One in great abundance in that day which will supply His servants “ Who follow Him wherever He goes” (Revelation 14:3) exactly what they need to get the victory during this most intense period of persecution God’s people will ever experience.

Notice in Revelation 12:11 exactly how these warriors of the Cross get the victory. Yes, it is by utilizing the precious Blood of our Savior, the Lamb of God, our Lord Jesus Christ: “And they overcame him [The Devil] by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
All three of these spiritual weapons must be employed in order for the warrior to get the victory over the Devil:
1.      The Blood of the Lamb
2.      The Word of Their [Blameless] Testimony
3.      The Fully Surrendered Life [Unto Death]

During this time application of the power of God will be key just as it is today, but the great difference will be the Devil will no longer have access to accuse the believer. Today a chess game like scenario exists in the heavenlies for every time the believer falls to temptation the Devil is quick to go to the throne of God and accuse them immediately causing that believer to lose access to the throne of Grace.

But, oftentimes his accusations are false and although we do not understand fully the process of God’s dealing with him at the throne he obviously has the ability to delay answers to prayer as Daniel experienced (Daniel 10) and his withering persecution and affliction like Job experienced will continue to oppress and wear down those who are unprepared for this future unparalleled onslaught. There will be those who overcome the Devil (Revelation 12:11) but the Scripture reveals that many will be overcome by his increasing and devastating power against the saints. (Daniel 7:21, 25; Revelation 13:7).

This should be no real surprise as many believers at the present hour have been deceived by the heretical teaching of being delivered before “the tribulation” so-called begins. But, just a casual review of Matthew 24’s chronological unfolding of world conditions of the last few decades reveals that we are living in what Jesus called “The beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:4- 8) rapidly moving toward the beginning of the 70th Week of Daniel!

Then, at the midst of the 70th Week, the accuser of our brethren will be cast out of heaven and not have access to the throne of God and the believer will have increased power to resist temptation causing great personal victory thereby expanding the Kingdom of God and providing increased spiritual prowess for the next encounter as the believer “Grows in grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (II Peter 3:18).

After God shortens the great tribulation (Matthew 24:22), “Immediately after the tribulation of those days“ the sign of the Day of the Lord is seen as the sun, moon and stars darken the earth which is followed by the sign of the Second Coming which is the worldwide bursting forth of the Shekinah glory which every eye shall see and then the Lord will come to rapture His saints which His angels have gathered from the four corners of the earth! (Matthew 24:29-31)

Right before His coming the 144 Thousand, who have been mightily prepared during the great tribulation, will be sealed for protection (Revelation 7:3-8) during their Day of the Lord ministry. Revelation 14:1-5 also underlines the spiritual prowess of the 144 Thousand. In this passage they appear in a glorious victory scene on Mt. Zion at the end of the 70th Week of Daniel after “The Redeemer comes to Zion” (Isaiah 59:20; Romans 11:25, 26) bringing full redemption to the nation of Israel.

They will be singing “A new song” (Revelation 14:3) which they alone are able to sing here on earth in perfect harmony with the heavenly choir of harpers before the Throne of God! What a great day to be alive and take part in the celebration of the ages as God the Father and all of heaven rejoice in the redemption and blessing of the Father’s Bride the Twelve Tribes of Israel!

The heavenly choir is likely made up of the saints of the ages who have been raptured into God’s presence before the Day of the Lord/wrath of God begins (Revelation 7:9-17) for we have been promised deliverance from His wrath (Romans 5:9; I Thessalonians 1:10, 5:9) but not the great wrath of the Devil (Revelation 12:12) a.k.a. the great tribulation of the Antichrist. (Matthew 24:21; Revelation 7:14).

It is significant that the only time the Greek article “the” is written before “great tribulation” is after it is over in Revelation 7:14. Until it is complete this time of great tribulation is not given the article and it is never given a time length in Scripture for its length is only known after it is finished, being cut short or amputated by God in order to save His elect from completely perishing at the hands of the Devil’s Antichrist (Matthew 24:21, 22)!

So, the task at hand today for the Church of Jesus Christ is to take part in raising up this godly seed called the rest or remainder of faithful Jews. These young men and the last Elijah (Malachi 4:5, 6; Matthew 17:11) along with the two witnesses (Revelation 11:3-17) will be called out and matured out of the ranks of the global Church by the Master of the Universe Himself! These men will be at the forefront of the battle during the last half of the 70th Week and the Day of the Lord.

We the born-again the Bible way Christians must be ever mindful of God’s working in our midst as He calls out this generation of young Jewish believers who are described in numerous Old Testament passages. One of the most significant is found in Psalm 110:3 where the 144 Thousand Day of the Lord kingdom of priests is found: “Thy people shall be willing in the day of Thy power, in the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning: Thou hast the dew[Great multitude] of Thy youth [young men].”

These young men, shown here clad in their priestly garments, are the Lord’s Priesthood of the Apocalypse during the time of judgment when the He brings upon the earth and its inhabitants His righteous wrath as recorded in Revelation 8-19. These men will be His servants who reach out to Jew and Gentile alike during this cataclysmic time on earth.

Psalm 110 is described as The Crown Jewel of the Psalms because of its major Messianic content. The Lord Jesus Christ’s coronation as King of Glory is announced in (v.1). In (v.4) God the Father swears with an oath installing the Lord Jesus Christ as His Great High Priest. The majority of this Psalm is yet future as The Lord Jesus Christ is seen as The Righteous Judge “In the day of His wrath” (v.5) during the great and terrible Day of the Lord (Revelation 8-19) when God the Father “Makes His [The Lord Jesus] enemies His footstool” (v.1).

Also in Psalm 22, the great Psalm of the Cross, this generation of Jewish believers is seen: “A seed shall serve Him [The Lord Jesus Christ/The Messiah/Yeshua HaMachiach]; it shall be accounted to the LORD for a generation. They shall come, and shall declare His righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that He hath done this.” (Psalm 22:30, 31)

Once again this generation appears: “Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who shall stand in His holy place? He that hath clean hands and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek Him,that seek Thy face, O [God of] Jacob. Selah. (Psalm 24:3-6)

This vivid description lines up perfectly with the characteristics of the 144 Thousand in Revelation 14:1-5. First of all they are seen on “The  hill of  the Lord” Mt. Zion (Revelation 14:1). Secondly, they are standing with the Lamb in a holy place. Third, their blameless condition is described: “And in their mouth was found no guile for they are without fault before the Throne of God.” (Revelation 14:5) which parallels their description in Psalm 24:4.

Psalm 102 has a lengthy end-times section which also speaks of this same generation. Verses 12-22 describe numerous events which will occur yet future. God shall have mercy upon Zion (v.13) at the end of the 70th Week of Daniel when the Redeemer comes to Zion (Isaiah 59:20; Romans 11:26). The heathen shall fear the name of the Lord and all the kings of the earth His glory (v.15) after the battle or Armageddon during the Millennium.

In (v.18, 22) “This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD…When the people [the Jews] are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.” The 144 Thousand are ‘The generation to come’ and the gathering of the Jews refers to the time when the Lord Jesus and the 144 Thousand gather upon Mt. Zion at the end of the 70th Week of Daniel (Revelation 14:1) when the three groups of Jews, the 144 Thousand, and the [remnant] rest of His brethren [the woman of Revelation 12] return unto the children of Israel [those who are redeemed/saved at the end of the 70th Week] (Micah 5:3).

This great gathering of the people, the Jews, was first prophesied by Jacob when he gave his last days blessing to his sons, the twelve tribes in Genesis 49. In (v.10) of that chapter the Lord Jesus Christ is seen as “Shiloh” the Peaceful One:
“The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet unto Shiloh come; and unto Him shall the gathering of the people be.”

Micah 5:3 also shows this great gathering of the Jews: “Therefore will He give them up, until the time that she which travails hath brought forth: then the remnant of His brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.”

”He [the Lord] will give them up” referring to the setting aside of Israel (Romans 11:8, 25, 26) “until the time” (Micah 5:3) when He will thoroughly purge, purify (Jeremiah 30:7; Zechariah 13:9) and redeem Israel at the end of the 70th Week of Daniel (Isaiah 59:20, 21).  There is a “return to the sons of Israel” (Micah 5:3) by “the remainder of His brethren” indicating the eventual gathering of Jews:
1.  The Woman (Revelation 12)
2.  The 144 Thousand (Revelation 14:1)
3.  The Nation Saved @ End of 70th Week of Daniel
(Genesis49:10,                                                                                                                                                                             Psalm 102:22; Isaiah 59:20; Daniel 9:24; Hosea 1:11, 3:5;
     Zechariah 13:8, 9; Romans 11:25, 26; Revelation 11:15, 14:1-5)

These redeemed Jews will gather and eventually populate their promised land during the glorious 1000 year earthly reign of Christ (Revelation 20:1-6) also known as the Millennium.  This passage continues describing the Messiah’s actions.  Micah 5:5 indicates, the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ is the Peace when the Assyrian [the Antichrist] comes into the land of Israel providing peace as only He can to His people during the great day of trouble/the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7) after which He will come as their Redeemer when the six purposes for the Seventy Weeks are well on their way to completion.

The transgression will be finished, the end of sins also will be complete along with reconciliation for iniquity for at the end of the Seventy Weeks the Lord Jesus will: “Bring in everlasting righteousness, and seal up vision and prophecy.”  He, “The Most Holy” will be anointed. (Daniel 9:24) preparing Him for His righteous rule on earth upon the Throne of David His father (Luke 1:32) for a thousand years during what is known as the Millennium (Revelation 20:4-6). The Lord  Jesus Christ’s anointing  will complete the six purposes for the Seventy Weeks as described in Daniel 9:24.

This future time when the kingdoms of the earth serve the Lord is also recorded in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ: “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever.” (Revelation 11:15). This event occurs at the end of the 70th Week of Daniel as does the end of the 3.5 year ministry of the two witnesses which is  recorded in Revelation 11:7-13.

However, it is the 144 Thousand Servants of God who will be front and center during the end of this age and the following Day of the Lord. They are the premier soldiers of the Cross who will be fighting the battles against Satan and his demonic forces after they have been ousted from heaven by Michael and his Angels.

Their enhanced warfare prowess will be supernatural indeed as they utilize the Word of God and prayer as the two offensive weapons of the saint. The Day of the Lord will likely revert to an Old Testament emphasis when the Word of God was supreme prior to the Holy Spirit indwelling each and every believer. However, this is only a theory.

The numerous references to “Walking in the Law of the Lord” demonstrate how God’s chosen people were fully aware of the supernatural power of t he Word of God. Notice this phenomenon in Psalm 15:1-3: “Lord, who shall abide in Thy tabernacle, who shall dwell in Thy holy hill, he that walks uprightly and works righteousness and speaks the Truth in his heart.” Also, in Psalm 26:2, 3 the Scripture records: “Examine me O LORD and prove me, try my reins and my heart, for Thy lovingkindness is before my eyes, and I have walked in Thy Truth.”

The introduction to the longest and most powerful Psalm which exalts the precious Word of God also shows this great truth: “Blessed are the undefiled n the way who walk in the Law of the Lord. Blessed are they that keep His Testimonies
and that seek Him with the whole heart: The also do no iniquity they walk in His Ways.” (Psalm 119:1-3)

This Psalm also has numerous verses showing another attribute of the Holy Spirit which the Word of God exhibits and that is the ability to revive the saint who is in need of the Lord’s power and presence. Over ten times the Psalmist requests to be revived with the Word underlining the Spirit’s matchless tool to bring the saint the Lord’s power and presence. These 144 Thousand, the Dreaded Generation, will have the ability to walk in the Word, and see the Lord direct their steps moment by moment as they utilize the written and memorized Word for their literal moment by moment guidance as they go to battle with Satan and his emissaries.

They will be guarded and completely protected as they walk by faith not by sight. This will require them to have a copy of the Word of God with them at all times in order to see the Lord’s presence directing them through their daily battles and soul-winning efforts throughout their priesthood ministry. The Lord will illuminate His supernatural Word right before their very eyes allowing them to experience His presence and power as they walk in Him continually!

So, even though the Old Testament saint did not know that the Lord Himself is the Living Word (John 1:1-3), they experienced the effects of the indwelling Word providing them with the same results as the indwelling Holy Spirit. Although that statement might seem to be a bit strong, it is the Truth, the big difference between the O.T. and the N.T. is the blessings we receive through the Blood of Jesus which has provided us with a marvelous catalogue of eternal.“Spiritual Blessings” listed in Ephesians 1-3 that were not fully known or experienced by the O.T. saint.

However, the O.T. saint’s spiritual success (Joshua 1:8) was wholly dependent on their capacity to memorize and meditate upon the Word which varied with each believer. And, although this whole idea of the indwelling Word supplying the Holy Spirit’s power to those who are called to serve the Lord during the Day of the Lord might be questioned by some, it is in reality the primary need of winning the battle today against Satan’s trickery and tempting devices which he utilizes in the ongoing spiritual warfare as the Apostle  John wrote: “I have written unto you young men because ye are strong and the Word of God abideth in you and ye have overcome the wicked one.” (I John 2:14)

This was simply a confirmation of what the Lord Jesus demonstrated when He was tempted by the wicked one in Luke’s and Matthew’s Gospel chapter four. He utilized the Word of God that was already written for our benefit because anything He would have said would have been the Word of God!  So, the Lord’s demonstration at the outset of His earthly ministry and the doctrine written by the Apostle John serve to emphasize the very necessity of internalizing God’s Word to attain victory over the wicked one at the present hour. But, these are not the only two instances of commands and exhortations to hide the Word in our hearts.

In that future day, these 144 Thousand select young men called out from the twelve tribes of Israel will exhibit both the physical tenacity of an O.T. warrior like David plus the knowledge of the New Covenant blessings bought by the Blood of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary. They will be invincible as the record shows: 144 Thousand are sealed for protection at the beginning of the Day of the Lord (Revelation 7:3, 9:4), and all 144 Thousand victoriously appear with their Savior and King at the end of the 70th Week of Daniel on Mount Zion (Revelation 14:1).

None of them have perished during those days and months of intense battle when the world will be reeling with the devastating supernatural judgments from the Lord described in the book of the Revelation 8-19 when the vast majority of those living will be the avowed unrepentant enemies of anyone who names the name of Jesus or Jehovah.

The description of the 144 Thousand found in Revelation 14:3-5 underlines the reasons why they will be successful in their ministry during the end of this age and the Day of the Lord. First of all is the gift of their musical ability. They are the only ones who are able to sing “The new song” which the heavenly choir is singing before the Throne of God.

Music is the epitome of worship and the new song being sung is formulated from the precious Word of God. This theory can be supported by the Psalmist’s declaration in Psalm 119:54 “Thy Statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.” The new song is mentioned nine times in the Word of God and each time it exalts the Lord.

Their musical gift gives them the advantage of worshiping the Lord by meditating upon the Word of God which formulates a new song as a result. This gives them a precise and full connection to the Lord as they abide in Him in moment by moment communion receiving the necessary instruction for victory in the spiritual and physical battle.

Secondly, they are not defiled with women for they are virgins. This also enhances their ability to win the battle over any type of sexual temptation, and in the present distress of the end times they will not be encumbered by a relationship with the opposite sex especially not having a wife which Paul recommended in his first epistle to the Corinthians.

Next, the Scripture records this remarkable attribute: “These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth”. The Lord Jesus made this statement early in His earthly ministry: “Come ye after Me and I will make you to become fishers of men.” (Mark 1:17)  This is what it takes to be successful as a disciple of the Lord today, and in that day these 144 Thousand specially prepared disciples will turn their world upside down as the original twelve did in their day.

Following the Lord Jesus will guarantee their complete victory in that day when the Devil’s assault will be at its greatest intensity. He will utilize the Antichrist as his primary weapon against these Soldiers of the Cross whose focus will be winning “Souls for Jesus” as they will be fishers of men by utilizing their prayer power as the Priesthood of the Apocalypse. Their skill in utilizing the precious Word of God in the battle for souls will also be a most necessary asset.

These two offensive weapons along with the five defensive pieces of God’s armor (Ephesians 6:13-17) will be all that is needed for victory over the Devil just as it is today. But, these 144 Thousand will have the added advantage of God’s seal on their forehead providing them protection from the judgments that will be upon those men who are part of the adversary’s army.

In Revelation 14:5 the last of their character traits is mentioned: “And in their mouth was found no guile for they are  without  fault before the throne of God.” The absence of guile or deceit within their spirit allows them to be blameless putting them in the battle-ready position of being before the throne where all authority in the universe resides. This position causes them to have undivided attention from the King of Glory Himself as they get the victory in the spiritual battle that will continue to rage at a most furious level in which they will have the maximum opportunity for success.

Also, as mentioned above, the Lord will provide increased spiritual blessings for the battle during this time of maximum spiritual and physical warfare when the 144 Thousand go with Him: “These [The ten horns/kings] shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with Him [The 144 Thousand] are called, and chosen, and faithful.”(Revelation 17:14)

This verse further describes the spiritual credentials of the 144 Thousand during this time of victory after the 70th Week of Daniel in the closing days of the Day of the Lord. They continue to be with the Lord after they appear with Him in the celebration upon Mt. Zion (Revelation 14:1) at the end of the 70th Week of Daniel. This victory over the “ten horns” is but a prelude to the great battle of the ages, Armageddon (Revelation 19:11-21), which concludes the Day of the Lord!

These 144 Thousand are “The called and chosen and faithful” out of the great multitude of Jews world-wide. They will be specially called to their magnificent ministry during the last days. Only the Lord Jesus, John the Baptist, the two witnesses and the last Elijah-like prophet have been prophesied to come before their individual ministries take place.

However, this great company of Jews are the most mentioned in Bible prophecy before or after, except, of course, for the Lord Jesus Christ! They have been heralded in the Psalms, the Prophets and by the New Testament prophet John the Apostle showing their great degree of importance in the marvelous unfolding of the plan of God for the last days.

Now is the hour for the saints to recognize these truths and prepare for the last days which appear to be upon us even as we write and speak for the Lord’s description of “The beginning of sorrows” in His Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24:4-8) is progressing as events unfolding on the planet underline the facts which were written for our awareness during these times.
