I. Their Prototypes/Patterns/Parallels
A.     The Prophet Daniel, Azariah, Mishael and Hananiah [Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego]
        1. Their ministry is prophesied (II Kings 20:17, 18; Psalm 110:3; Rev.7:1-8; 12:17,14:1-5,17:14)          
        2. They are prepared for their ministry (Daniel 1:3, 4, 11:32-35, 12:3, 10; Revelation 7:3-8)
        3. They are young Hebrew men (Daniel 1:4, 6, 17; Psalm 110:3; Revelation 7:3-8)
        4. They refuse to be defiled (Daniel 1:8; Revelation 14:4a)

VII. Their Prophecy in the Major Prophets
 A. In Isaiah’s Prophecy:
   1. They are the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob (Isaiah 10:20-27)
   2. They are the remnant of His people, the outcasts of Israel, the dispersed of Judah (Isaiah 11:11-16)
   3. They are the ransomed of the Lord who return and come to Zion with songs (Isaiah 35:10)
   4. They are the remnant of the house of Judah, they are survivors out of Mount Zion (Isaiah 37:31, 32)
   5. They will sing a “New song” to the Lord (Isaiah 42:10; Revelation 14:3)
   6. They are the ransomed of the Lord and come to Mount Zion with joyful singing (Isaiah 51:11; 
       Revelation 14:3)
   7. They will bring good news, peace and happiness announcing salvation unto Zion in that day 
       (Isaiah 52:6-10)
   8. They will be called Priests of the Lord (Isaiah 61:6)
   9. They will be called the servants of the Lord (Isaiah 65:8-10, 13-16; Revelation 7:3)
 10. They will declare God’s glory among the nations (Isaiah 66:19-21)
B. In Jeremiah’s Prophecy:
   1. They will be watchmen calling out “Arise, and let us go up to Zion, To the Lord our God.” (Jeremiah 31:6)
   2. They shall come and shout for joy on the height of Zion (Jeremiah 31:12)
   3. They as the sons of Israel will seek the Lord their God (Jeremiah 50:4)
   4. They will ask for the way to Zion and join themselves to the Lord (Jeremiah 50:5)
C.  In Ezekiel’s Prophecy
   1. They are the result of God multiplying men in all the house of Israel (Ezekiel 36:8-12, 37, 38)
   2. They are among the tribes of Israel when God makes them one (Ezekiel 37:19)

VIII. Their Prophecy in the Minor Prophets
A.     In Daniel’s Prophecy
1.      They are among the people that do know their God (Daniel 11:32a)
2.      They shall be strong and do exploits (Daniel 11:32b)
3.      They are among those that understand among the people and instruct many (Daniel 11:33)
4.      They shall be tried, purged and made white even to the time of the end (Daniel 11:35)
5.      They are among those that be wise/shine as/brightness of the firmament/turn many to righteousness (Daniel 12:3)
6.      They are among them that shall be purified and made white and tried (Daniel 12:10)
B.     In Joel’s Prophecy
  1.   They are on Mount Zion, those who escape among the survivors whom the Lord calls 
        (Joel 2:32; Revelation 14:1)
2.   The Lord will be a refuge for them during the Day of the Lord (Joel 3:16a; Revelation 9:4)
    3.   The Lord will be a stronghold for them, the sons of Israel, during the Day of the Lord 
          (Joel 3:16b; Revelation 9:4)
C.     In Obadiah’s Prophecy
1.      They will be those that escape upon Mount Zion (Obadiah 17; Revelation 14:1)
2.      They are the saviors that come up on Mount Zion when the kingdom shall be the Lord’s (Obadiah 21; Revelation11:15)
D.     In Micah’s Prophecy
1.      They are the assembled remnant of Israel (Micah 2:12, 13; Revelation 14:1-5)
2.      They are the gathered remnant, the strong nation (Micah 4:6, 7; Revelation 14:1)
3.      They are the children [sons] of Israel who gather to their Messiah (Micah 5:3; Revelation 14:3)
4.      They are the remnant of Jacob (Micah 5:7, 8)
5.      They are among the remnant of His heritage (Micah 7:18)
  E.   In Zephaniah’s Prophecy
1.      They are the residue [remnant] of My people who spoil Moab (Zephaniah 2:9)
2.      They are the remnant that shall not do iniquity…neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth (Zephaniah 3:13; Revelation 14:5)
F.       In Zechariah’s Prophecy
1.      They are the residue [remnant] of this people (Zechariah 8:11; Micah 5:5ff)
2.      They are the remnant of this people who possess all things (Zechariah 8:12, 13)
3.      They are the bent  bow of Judah/Ephraim the sons of Zion (Zechariah 9:13-16; Psalm 110:2, 3; Revelation 17:14)
4.      They are the visited flock of the Lord of hosts, the house of Judah, His goodly horse in the battle (Zechariah 10:3ff)
5.      They are known as the clans of Judah in that day who go to battle (Zechariah 12:5ff; Revelation 17:14)
6.      They are the remnant of the people who shall not be cut off (Zechariah 14:2)
7.      They are led by the tribe of Judah and shall fight at Jerusalem in that day (Zechariah 14:14)
G.     In Malachi’s Prophecy
1.      They are the faithful in that day when God makes up His jewels (Malachi 3:17a; Revelation 14:1-5)
2.      They will be spared in that day (Malachi 3:17b; Revelation 9:4)
3.      They shall tread down the wicked (Malachi 4:3; Micah 5:5ff; Revelation 17:14)
4.      Their hearts will be turned through the ministry of Elijah (Malachi 4:5, 6)
